Back to the Meadowlands... Well, I came online towards the end of this play-by-play and it was full of drama... alas none of it was related to the set list. Apparently Jon blew his calf out during "Glad All Over" (tour debut, BTW, though it's a cover) and was limping after that. David Bryan had to carry him off stage.
Thanks to Titan4Ever2488 and bigapplejovi for the PBP. (And to Blue6707 for telling me I initially forgot to type "Born to Be My Baby"!)

Pretty disappointed review at this link :(
ReplyDeleteAnother disappointed fan here.
ReplyDeleteUggh, the setlist tells so little of the story. A horrid night, in every way honestly.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone was disappointed last night then you are not a true fan on bon jovi!!
ReplyDeleteit was an awesome nite........
ReplyDeleteI was there and I thought it was a great show! It wasn't perfect and people make mistakes from time to time but whatever. I saw one of the other Meadowlands shows where Jon fucked up Never Say Goodbye by starting on the third verse instead of the first. I do agree the encores were a little weak and could have thrown in Runaway or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a great show..they looked to be enjoying it as much as we did! I thought the set list was good..missed Blaze of Glory..would have liked make a memory..and summertime would have been appropriate!! But it was a great show..my only beef was they took the stage at 930pm..which messed up our clock on the Limo we had!
