Two more Australian dates added

From BonJovi.com:

2 FINAL SHOWS ADDED TO THE AUSTRALIAN LEG OF THE CIRCLE TOUR IN MELBOURNE & SYDNEY!
July 21, 2010

Bon Jovi’s Australian fans have spoken with shows selling out across the country within hours! Due to this incredible demand to see Rock’s Global Icons Live on stage, Dainty Consolidated Entertainment are adding 2 FINAL shows to the Australian leg of The Circle Tour.

MELBOURNE
FRIDAY 10TH DECEMBER - Rod Laver Arena

SYDNEY
SUNDAY 19TH DECEMBER – Sydney Football Stadium

TICKETS ON SALE TUESDAY 3RD AUGUST

In Melbourne Bon Jovi will perform an extra special ARENA show at Rod Laver Arena on the night prior to the completely sold out show at Etihad Stadium.

In Sydney there is not a seat left at the 2 shows already scheduled, therefore this extra night at the Sydney Football Stadium will give fans one last opportunity to secure tickets. These shows will definitely be the last chance to see BON JOVI Live on the CIRCLE TOUR!

Makes sense that Melbourne gets another show considering how quickly tickets sold out for the second tour in a row. But unfortunately for Adelaide fans, it looks like their efforts to get their first show since 1995 have fallen on deaf ears.

Anyway, here's what Aussie promoter Paul Dainty told Triple M:
"We tried everything to get a second show at Etihad [in Melbourne] but physically getting 36 trucks of gear up to Brisbane in 48 hours from Melbourne was an impossibility."

"[Bon Jovi] came back to me and said 'we don't care, you find a solution to do a second show'. And as luck would have it the Friday night was available the night at Rod Laver.

"So I told [Bon Jovi] about that and they said 'go for it, we wanna do it'. So they're going to fly into Melbourne a day earlier and free up a whole lot of demand that's out there."
