Bon Jovi Cleveland set list 9/3/13

Bon Jovi streamed their Cleveland concert in its entirety online and it was a pretty good webcast and show, even though Jon's voice was nowhere near its best. I loved the ad libs in Saturday Night, and appreciate the extra effort of singing Always when he looked ready for a rest.

  1. I thought it was great that they broadcast the whole show, wish they would do it more often. The stand out for me was Saturday Night, Jon was really into it and sounded great! Really looking forward to seeing them when they tour Australia in December. I was in the chat and Rob Fuz told me they are hoping to do a runaway tour here too, which I plan on going to so pretty excited right now!

  2. I was there! Even though a Bon Jovi tweet said 3 hrs, it was 2 hrs and 50 mins. The longest Bon Jovi concert I've attended. Great show!

  3. I have seen Bon Jovi 20+ times and last nights concert was up there in the top three concerts I have attended. My only wish going in was that they would do Always, and I was super excited when they did it as their last song. Sooo glad I went to Cleveland.

  4. It is interesting to read the opening comment that Jon's voice wasn't at his best. I did think it was hard to hear his vocals, but the music sounded great. I have seen them more than I can count and this was one of the best they have done. I know its a cliche' but they do just keep getting better. I do wish they would do some more older songs like Wild is the Wind or In & Out of Love; that would be classic. But I was surprised they still did In these Arms, which was not on previous song sets this time around. Luv them 4ever!

  5. Better than I expected; it got better as it went on. Wish they'd drop pap like 'We Got it Goin' On', it's such a subpar song. They've a broad enough catalogue to choose from and could play much better tracks.

Instead of Hallelujah Jnr. that is Amen, perhaps Beautiful World - even though so much of it is lifted directly from Matchbox 20. I was astonished when hearing it, the verse chords AND the full vocal melody line of the verse is lifted; a shame as that's one of my favourite songs from the new album.

You Want to make a memory was excellent I thought, and the encore as a whole; yes, even 'I Love this Town'^
