Bucharest set list

Happy birthday, Mr Richie Sambora! Bon Jovi also played in Romania for the first time ever. Apparently Jon wasn't too happy about a banner from someone who was sacked by the fan club and flipped her the bird, but I'm not sure of all the details. If anyone can fill us in on this story, it'd be much appreciated. ;)

  1. The bird flip -- during Dry County. In this video, about 1:18 in

    Dry County.

From what I've been told, it has something to do with a banner saying something negative to Jon/Matt regarding some of the VIP/FC practices. Someone was "ousted" from whatever she was doing in the FC (not a paid position I'm told) for having a very forceful difference of opinion with Matt over how/why VIP passes are distributed -- how it's not "fair" to the fans that crew/roadies get VIP passes to distribute to their friends/family, etc., etc. I don't have all the specifics, but that's what I've been told so far.

Just after the Jersey Bird is a little shoulder shrug, which you can interpret however you like :)

  2. To be honest I wouldn't waste your time thinking about what happened with Rebekka. Basically she had a difference of opinion with Matt and said things she shouldn't have said to someone who was effectively her boss, and quite rightly she was asked to leave. We would all have been in trouble if we had spoken to our bosses the way she spoke to Matt, and I don't particularly like the man myself. The band has earned the right to give passes to who they like and although we might not like it, thats their perogative. The fact that we have to queue and camp out here in Europe is crazy enough, let alone all the FC infighting crap. Live and let live I say, and just go and enjoy the show wherever you end up, afterall they never disappoint once on stage.

If the band has earned the right then why would you not like it? I keep hearing this said and it makes no sense. The same with saying "no use bitching about it" but then still bitching about it weeks and weeks later.

Goddamn, I cant wait for them to go away, reading this housewife-like junk is putting me off even music.

  4. Thanks for your input, everyone. Though I wouldn't say I was worried about the incident with Rebekka; more intrigued/curious. :)
