Who knows if there's some kind of gag order in place that prevents Richie from saying a) what's keeping him off the tour and b) when he might be back. But it's a tough pill to swallow when your favourite band's guitarist pulls a disappearing act on the day of a show then leaves everyone in the dark as to why. Plenty of speculation but it's hard to know what to believe.
Now we know: Europa without Richie

Just on Bon Jovi site that Richie will NOT be playing on the Europe, South African leg of the tour, but all shows will go as scheduled.
ReplyDeleteReal bummer!!!! Hope things can be worked out but it doesn't look promising. I sure hope this is not the end of Bon Jovi, as a band because without Ritchie it will not be Bon Jovi.
This is really starting to become BS. I think there is a lot more to this. I think we are at the point where this is not a true Bon Jovi tour anymore and it is a real let down.
ReplyDeleteNew blog post is up. It ain't easy keeping the faith.
ReplyDeleteIt is still a great show. Phil is amazing and energetic and obviously enjoying himself. Let's just give Richie the space he wants. He is f...ing great after all!!!
ReplyDeletemy thought to this is he's on probation for the DUI he got and he can't leave the country or he'll be in violation of his probation order..or can't get a pass port out of the country because of it ...
