  1. I saw a couple of girls with black or dark blue Australia (bon jovi) shirts on going up the escalator after the show. Were those your friends?

The show was good, not great by their standards. Better than some, not as good as others. Also, this is my opinion. I am not saying I am right. This is just how I feel.

Pro: They opened with Prayer. I think that song is a great way to start the show.
Con: They played Blood on Blood later in the show. Don’t get me wrong I have thoroughly enjoyed it this tour. But if they are not going to open with it, they can afford to drop it for a show. I think something off These Days would have served that slot well.

Con: Only 1 song from the Circle
Pro: It wasn't Work for the Working Man
Con: It wasn't Thorn, Brokenpromiseland, Superman Tonight (acoustic) or Love's the Only Rule (Or Learn to love for that matter)

Pro: Blaze of Glory and Keep the Faith this tour are amazing. I have never thought Blaze (live) compared to the album version until this tour. The only difference I can point out is that Jon's vocals are stronger.
Con: Who Says You Can't Go Home (but expected)

Pro: 5 songs from Keep the Faith. Bed of Roses is great every time I have seen it(this tour anyway)and this performance was nothing less than fantastic. As mentioned, the title track always amazes me... especially for a song I have never considered one of my favorites. Dry County is always a treat and was performed better in Vegas than Chicago last Fall (my only basis for comparison). Lastly, I haven't seen In these Arms since the OWN tour in 01. Still, a great live song and it surprisingly worked as a closer.
Con: Nothing off These Days. And 1 of the 5 was I'll Sleep When I'm Dead. This song shouldn't be played near as often as it gets played. It's a good song but it is not a classic like Prayer or Bad Medicine (the type of HIT you can hear over and over and still enjoy). At least they aren't playing it every show, like previous tours.
Pro: Jon did something different with the 2nd verse I'd never seen/heard before. He never paused between lines. It at least made the song a little interesting (for a guy who has seen it numerous times). We got the Start Me Up medley... which I have never seen in person.

Con: They played 3 songs from Lost Highway…. my favorite song and least favorite song from Lost Highway. And they can pull off We Got It going On (my least favorite) live and cannot pull off Make a Memory (My favorite). It loses the crowd. I am all about them trying different things all the time, hit or miss, and again, I love Make a Memory, but for that slot, Open All Night from Bounce or Halleluiah went over much better with the audience and are better live…. And I personally think This Ain’t a Love Song.
Pro: No Lost Highway. One of my least favorite Bon Jovi songs ever and another song that gets played way too often. Also, I Love This Town (while not one of my favorites) it works from time to time.

Pro: Lay Your Hands On Me. The new break down Dave and Richie are doing mid-song is fantastic. The new solo is cool. And the double time outro breaths new life into the song. Tico goes to town. It is very interesting and I totally dig it.
Con: Until they pulled out the new last half, I would have picked Homebound Train every time. Richie just seemed more comfortable with it… But like I said, the new work to LYHOM really pays off.

Pro: The More Things Change. For sure my favorite new song off the GH. I also like the speech in the middle comparing Beeber to Timberlake and lady Gaga to Madonna. I am sure this is a song they will soon forget, so I am glad I saw it while they are playing it.
Cons: I think it had mixed reviews in the crowd. For instance, my wife didn’t enjoy it too much. Also, I would have enjoyed seeing another new song if given the chance…. Probably No Apologies.

Pro: Jon stated 3 songs in they’d play for 3 hrs.
Con: They only played for 2.5 hours.
Pro: They played for 2.5 hours.

  3. No problem. Thank you for this site! I don't even visit their site anymore. This is far easier to navigate and I get the info I am looking for much quicker.
