  1. Lee-Ann, you spend a lot of time on here updating, reporting, etc. I am sure I can speak for everyone when I say it is much appreciated. We all share the same common love for Bon Jovi music. I have to ask.....given the nature of their setlists being so predictable and stagnant, how do you keep the energy to keep doing this? Does the seeing the basically the same show over and over ever get to you?

    1. Thanks for your comment. :)

It is a little disheartening, especially when Bon Jovi always prided themselves on never playing the same setlist. Many artists keep the same set for a whole tour, and I have no issue with this, because those artists never come out before a tour and say "We've rehearsed X number of songs and it'll be a completely different show every night".

I think it helps that I like THINFS and have been pleasantly surprised that Jon has kept all the new songs in for so long. (But even then, they could switch it up with some other THINFS tracks, e.g. Living with the Ghost, Labor of Love, Real Love.)

It was actually harder to keep updating in 2013-2015 when I didn't really know what was going to happen with the band and didn't love the albums they were releasing. But if they announce another leg of the tour soon, I'll be pretty annoyed if there are still no changes for those shows. :P

  2. I don't go to multiple shows so it didn't bother me that the set list in St. Paul was about the same as all of the other shows on this tour. But I agree that if one says the set list will change every night, then it would be nice if it did. I really enjoy the new songs and am glad he's keeping them as the shows go on. A few different songs would be nice just in case I haven't heard them at another show, although I'm only been to four others. At least one rare song as the first song for the encore would be great. I love JBJ talking about the new songs before singing them. It feels like a little storyteller portion of the show and I always enjoy those.

    1. Yeah, it's true that the majority of people don't go to multiple shows so there's no need to specifically cater to those who do... However, a handful of changes per night would be enough to keep things fresh, and most people happy.

Glad you enjoyed your show... thanks for commenting. :)
