Brief video has emerged of Richie Sambora performing an acoustic version of Livin' on a Prayer at yesterday's Melbourne Cup, where he was a guest of Lavazza.




He also makes an appearance in this video segment from Sunrise (at about 1:53) on the fashions at Flemington Racecourse this year:

Richie Sambora heading to Melbourne Cup

Richie Sambora is coming to Australia, but unless there's a very major development in the next few weeks, it won't be for the Bon Jovi tour in December. He'll be Down Under for the Melbourne Cup on November 5:

But we're not sure Bon Jovi fans should get too excited; he is coming here for the Melbourne Cup as a guest of coffee-maker, Lavazza.

Sambora is, of course, a founding member of Bon Jovi.

"I'm pumped to be coming to Australia as a guest of Lavazza and I can't wait for Melbourne Cup Day," said Sambora, who performs at this weekend's Breeder's Cup at Santa Anita Park in California ahead of his Australian trip.
