Was anyone there? What was the atmosphere like, given the "corporate" nature of the show?
I was there. The atmosphere was that of a hot, sweaty, sultry, Saturday night outdoor party. The show's setlist was a good mix of new and old and, despite it being shorter than normal, it was a fun night. The crowd was very energetic and happy to see them back in the Mountain State after a 23 year hiatus.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks for the feedback... Glad you enjoyed the show. :)
DeleteIt was AWESOME!!! We have missed them here sooo much!! It was hot, muggy, humid & if you listen to Jon during "I'll be There for you", he takes a few extra breaths because of the heat (remember, this is almost 10:30pm) and for a time he looked as if he would pass out from the heat. He even commented on the heat one time during the show. The guys were great though. There were some of us who had been there pretty much the Entire day waiting for the show to start & they called and ordered palletts of water to be brought out & handed out to us at no charge (they came in these Greenbrier Classic PGA Tour bottles).
ReplyDeleteCheers for the review. :)
