Do love letters mix with the old man's whiskey stains?

Well apparently Jon Bon Jovi's solo album Destination Anywhere was released June 17, 1997 in the US and he consequently made his solo tour debut. So I guess now is a good time to follow Hath and Big Apple Jovi's leads and post some videos from that release. ;) I was hoping to find some clips from Australia but no cigar. Nevertheless, here are a couple of my personal favourite Destination Anywhere songs... What are yours?

EVERY WORD WAS A PIECE OF MY HEART (audio and video out of sync but oh well)

MIDNIGHT IN CHELSEA (some of the subtitles aren't quite right)

JBJ & Friends at Starland (videos)

Videos from the February 23 Backstage gig at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. Featuring Jon Bon Jovi, Everett Bradley, and the Asbury Jukes minus Southside Johnny. (Have I missed anyone?)

The full set can be found here. It may not have been Bon Jovi the band, but to experience these songs must have been an incredible treat for those in attendance. And Jon seems very relaxed.

SO YOU WANT TO BE A ROCK 'N' ROLL STAR (The Byrds cover)

THIS TIME IT'S FOR REAL (Southside Johnny cover)

I GET A RUSH

GARAGELAND

DON'T LEAVE ME TONIGHT

HEAD OVER HEELS

MIDNIGHT IN CHELSEA

JANIE DON'T YOU TAKE YOUR LOVE TO TOWN

EVERY WORD WAS A PIECE OF MY HEART

BANG A DRUM (partial)

I don't normally embed so many videos in one post but this is, in all likelihood, a once in a lifetime kind of show. I'm still pinching myself.
