Sambora, the estranged lead guitarist of Bon Jovi, delighted the crowd at a Hamilton benefit for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen by jumping onstage unannounced on Sunday evening. The guitarist, who wore a red Santa hat ringed by leopard-patterned fur, joined an expanded version of Ernie White's band for renditions of "Silent Night," "Merry Christmas, Baby," "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," and other holiday favorites. The show, which was held at Princeton Manor, was White's 14th annual all-star holiday benefit. White, a veteran of the same Shore circuit that produced Bon Jovi, grew up in Trenton.
