Richie Sambora on Craig Ferguson (#samboraonferguson)

Richie Sambora (along with Luke Ebbin, Aaron Sterling, Curt Schneider, Matt Rollings and David R. Harris) just wrapped up their week as the house band on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. It was an enjoyable stint all around but I picked out a couple of musical highlights.

Seven Years Gone - So pumped that he played this after largely neglecting it on the aborted Aftermath of the Lowdown tour. It's a great track.

Sugar Daddy - Craig Ferguson took lead vocals in this and maybe it's just the novelty of his zaniness but this is probably my favourite rendition of Sugar Daddy so far. :P

  1. Sounds good!! Is he rescheduling tour? Just seems odd to me...unless tixs weren't selling.

    1. He tweeted last month that he'd try to reschedule shows in January, but I'm pretty sure poor ticket sales had a lot to do with why all but one of the North American dates were cancelled so we shall see.

  2. I DVR's all the shows and have only made it through the first 2 so far, but have enjoyed getting to see his banter as well as the performances. "Sugar Daddy" is one of my faves off of "Aftermath..."

  3. I hate "Sugar Daddy." Unfortunately, I'm not surprised at its inclusion on a pretty good album. It's very "We Got It Going On."

    1. Haha, the song made me cringe the first few times but I have to admit it's kind of grown on me, much more so than We Got It Going On which I intensely dislike.
